Being Seen In The Saturated World Of Blogging: It Is Still Possible

Let’s face it, every man, woman, and the dog has a blog these days. Only a few short years ago, if you were to tell someone you had a blog they would look dumbfounded at you wondering what it is. These days everyone’s an expert on something. It isn’t a bad thing, everyone has a right to share their passions and creativity, but it can mean that it is a lot harder to stand out from the crowd. The truth is, it is still possible to ensure your blog gets the traffic it deserves. I wanted to share with you some of the things you could consider.

Take the time to establish “your voice”

The problem with there being a lot of blogs out there is that things can sound very similar, so you need to work on your blog voice to stand out from the crowd. This is where you can be unique and take advantage of being you. You and your blog are what makes you unique, and so working on that, saying things and explaining things in “your” way, will help your blog content to look different from everything else. It is the simplest thing you can do, but yet the one thing many struggles to get right. It is tempting to follow the crowd, but then this could work against you.

Use other social networks other than the obvious

Sometimes you need to think outside of the box when it comes to you advertising the blog content you have. You may think about sharing a link on Facebook or Twitter but there are other ways you can do it. Instagram is a great way to share your content and using your feed and the Instagram stories option gives you that chance to reach more people. Pinterest is often a social media that is overlooked, but it is a great way to share blog content and some people think that some of their best exposure comes from it. If you want more information than you could check out the Free Pinterest Course to brush up on your skills.

Create unique content and work on your writing skills

There is nothing quite like creating unique content, but you also need to ensure that what you do share is grammatically correct and free from spelling mistakes. Small mistakes can cost you your readership as your blog can then look unprofessional or lacking in detail. There are plenty of ways you can improve the content you share. Using free tools to check grammar and spelling, proofreading and also checking your own work and coming back to it rather than hitting the word publish the moment you place the last full stop in there. It can make a big difference.

Consider search engine optimization and the use of keywords

Finally, sometimes you need to be precise with the words you use in your content and this is because search engine optimization now very important to help your blog and website be seen amongst the masses. If you would like your blog article to appear when someone searches for something specific, use those word in the body of your text, specifically in the first paragraph. Thankfully you can download plugins for your blog to help identify SEO as well as reading up on articles sharing hints and tips.

I hope that these tips help you when it comes to sharing your blog content.
