Buy One Give One Book & Clothing Review For Children!

As parents, we are always shopping for our little ones.

We tend to spend quite a bit of money.

Wouldnt it feels good to buy from a company knowing they are giving something back to the community?

Buy one give one is a great way to go in your business!

In this post, you will see how Maverik got some new clothes and when he got a piece of clothing we were able to give one back to another child in need!

Same with the book! We got a great educational book for Maverik and also another child out there got the same book!

The “buy one give one” process is such a great thing to have in our world!

You can read more about the Rodeo Rocker from MyBToys on my other post!

Maverik loves rocking on his Rodeo Rocker.

Maverik got the Harriet Tubman book.

Introducing this fiercely determined legendary lady

Why do we love this book?

Their passion is to encourage parents to not only read to their children at the youngest possible age but to go beyond the basics of numbers, colors and animals and read about Our Legendary Ladies.

You can help with this by sharing these stories with your children, grandchildren, friends, and anyone who could benefit from hearing the inspirational stories of our history’s legendary ladies.

This book is infant psychologist approved!

“Our Legendary Ladies”

Maverik loves his teddy bear that we got from my grandmother at his baby shower.

It came with a book also but I can review that another time!

You can see he was munching on his Gerber puffs, he always dumps them everywhere!

Spring is our favorite season so he’s also rocking the khaki pants!

They are great for little boys to play freely in.

BabyMoso is an eco-conscious clothing brand, that has onesies made with incredibly soft viscose from bamboo.

The fabric is free of harmful substances.

For every onesie they sell, they donate one to a child in need.

“In the United States, approximately 2,700+ babies are born into poverty each day – that is nearly 1,000,000 per year!

That number is staggering.

These babies and their parents need all of our help.”

BabyMoso Onesie Fabric Info

When they started the company they did plenty of research in order to decide which material to use for their onesies; viscose from bamboo was clearly the best choice for so many reasons:

  • Soft – material drapes like silk and has a butter-soft feel. As a bonus, the material is blended with spandex so it stretches easily, making dressing any baby frustration-free.
  • Cool –  material wicks naturally. That means it pulls moisture away from the body, making it even more comfortable to wear vs. traditional non-wicking fabrics. This is especially true for babies living in warmer climates. As parents ourselves, we’ve found this helps to mitigate the chances of ‘prickly heat rash’.
  • Sustainable – Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth – growing up to 1 meter a day! Bamboo can grow with rainwater and no need for heavy irrigation or use of pesticides like other plant-based fabrics.
Viscose from bamboo is great, but we must all keep in mind that there is no perfect, zero-impact fabric manufacturing process for any material. Whenever we take something from the earth, we need to be sure we’re doing our best to replace it and to be mindful of the handling and disposal of the new products that are created. From start to finish, the overall cultivation and production of viscose from bamboo is undeniably one of the least impactful on the earth and its resources.

Giving Back When Purchasing A Book!

For each book purchased a portion of the proceeds will be donated to one of their non-profit partners. Our passions are literacy, helping children in need and extending a helping hand to all of our military families. That being said, the partners they select will exemplify each one of their passions.

They are constantly adding to their list of non-profit partners! Stay tuned!

Buy A Onesie, Give A Onesie!

Inspired by the ‘Buy One, Give One’ business model, the company decided to take it upon themselves to apply that concept to baby clothing, under what they are calling their “Buy A Onesie, Give A Onesie” promise. What that means is, for every onesie they sell, they will also donate one to a child in need.

At the end of each month, they tally their sales and donate one onesie for every onesie sold to Newborns In Need in the US and Pathfinders in Hong Kong. Simple as that. You’ll be able to witness this giving in real time on their social media pages.
